Unlock Interview Success with Proven Strategies
what does this course cover?
Thirty minutes in front of a panel decides the next five years. Every other high stakes skill in medicine comes with supervised practice. This one comes with a date and a room number.
First training post, consultant appointment, senior leadership role. The panel and the scoring change, the method does not. Your CV, preparing, managing nerves, handling the question you were dreading. You walk in ready to perform.
Learning outcomes:
- Recognise how your format works, station based recruitment, a consultant panel or a stakeholder interview, and prepare for the one in front of you.
- Build a CV and application that get you shortlisted, then self score them against the person specification before the panel does.
- Present your strengths and experience with examples a panel can score, pitched at the level of the post.
- Manage nerves in the room, including resetting after a question or a station that has gone badly.
- Handle governance, prioritisation and difficult colleague questions with a method, then act on feedback from realistic practice.
