- Recognise how resident doctors are using AI in clinical practice, and identify where it adds value and where it creates risk.
- Guide residents on AI in ePortfolios, specialty applications and reflective logs, drawing on the current JRCPTB position.
- Spot AI generated portfolio entries, know what your responsibilities are as a supervisor, and know when to act.
- Advise residents on appropriate use of AI in presentations, correspondence, manuscripts and everyday professional communication with colleagues.
- Build your own AI skills and use them to strengthen your teaching, your feedback and your educational practice.
