Portfolio Pathway and CESR

This workshop is designed for doctors aiming to apply for Specialist Registration through the new portfolio pathway or develop an autonomous role as a specialist doctor. Participants will gain essential skills and knowledge to build a compelling portfolio that highlights their clinical and non-clinical competencies, aligning with GMC requirements.

The course covers creating a successful portfolio, including collecting relevant evidence, mapping achievements to specialty curricula and Good Medical Practice standards, and preparing for the assessment process. Participants will learn strategies for effective organisation, presentation, and reflection to enhance their application.

The primary aim of this workshop is to equip doctors with the skills and knowledge needed to successfully navigate the portfolio pathway for Specialist Registration or an autonomous specialist doctor role. By focusing on portfolio creation, effective organisation, and preparation for GMC assessment, the workshop supports achieving professional registration and career advancement.
