Support Trainees to Enhance Mental Fitness
what does this course cover?
This workshop supports trainers to better understand and promote mental fitness among residents, equipping them with practical strategies to foster resilience, self-awareness and sustainable performance in training. Participants will explore how to recognise early signs of stress, create psychologically safe learning environments, and hold effective 1:1s that support development and mental fitness.
The session empowers trainers to support residents in building the habits, mindset and coping skills essential whilst working in high-pressure clinical settings and sustaining long-term career fulfilment.

To equip trainers and supervisors with practical strategies to support trainees in improving self-care, managing stress, and enhancing resilience, ensuring their well-being and effectiveness in their roles.
